Key Features
cricketWeb™ is an affordable and efficient way for Clubs to generate and distribute valuable and timely information to its members. Key features include:
Fixture Management
Load your season’s fixtures into cricketWeb to make them available on your website. Players and umpires will be able to quickly view up and coming fixtures by competition or club for each round. Changes to fixtures and umpires can be easily managed and communicated to members through your cricketWeb site.
Player Selection
Once all of your members have been entered into cricketWeb you can choose week by week who will be playing for each team and lists will automatically be published to your website.
Scorecard and Results Management
Clubs have the facility to enter a full score card into cricketWeb and make this available on their website. Players can look at the past and present results of matches to see their team’s track record against the opposition. Players will soon visit your site regularly to pick up the results and whilst there see your latest news and events.
Record of Registered Members
You can store lists of your registered and unregistered members in cricketWeb and publish lists of registered, unregistered, senior, junior, full or overseas members on your website.
News & Events Manager
Enables you to distribute League news or advertise events to members. Write ups of recent events can attract more members to the next one or reminders of how and where to drop off scorecards etc can be regularly posted to your website. Think of this as your Clubs’ own online notice board.
Personalised Website & Domain Name
cricketWeb enable you to express your Clubs individuality through good use of your league colours and logo to brand your site. You are also provided with an option of backgrounds and graphics to make your site appealing and unique. If you have sponsors and advertisers these can also be placed on your home page.
You may also choose to have your own domain name to make you site easier for members to locate and remember.
Clubs have full discretion over their domain name, information, advertisers and sponsors that appear on their website. Further customisation is possible through the information you choose to publish.
Promotion of Sponsors and Advertisers
A website is a good way to return value to sponsors and attract investors to your league. Sponsors and advertisers can be featured on your homepage in addition to a separate page where they might like to offer promotions and discounts to your members. Sponsors and advertisers can help raise the profile and revenue for your Club.
Directions to Playing Grounds
Provide members with directions to playing grounds to prevent any members being delayed to games. Grounds will be published on your website with their address, telephone number and with a link to multimap.
Club, Team & Player Profiles
cricketWeb provides Clubs with the option to publish club, team and player profiles. This helps to build the character of your Club and communicate to members the history, versatility and values of your club. Team profiles are useful to teams who want to build some camaraderie amongst teammates. Profiles encourage participation, help members to feel proud they belong to the club or team and can motivate players to represent the club well on the field.
Address Book of Important Contacts
Store and display the Executive Committee’s and important people’s contact details. This helps members know who you are and who to go to for information.
Documents Locker
You can publish useful documents to your website for members to download. You may wish to make fixtures, scorecards, registration forms, rules and newsletters available to members electronically.
Multi-User Capability
Access to cricketWeb can be provided to more than one person so that you can share the administration of updating and managing your website.
Access cricketWeb™ Offline
The cricketWeb application can be used offline providing administrators with access to the club or league’s information without being connected to the Internet. This enables large changes to be made a little at a time and then checked before they are displayed online. This also means, if you are using a laptop, information can be added to cricketWeb at remote locations (like clubrooms) and uploaded to your website at a more convenient time.
Access to cricketWeb™ Through Firewalls
cricketWeb is now accessible behind a firewall which means it can be accessed from previously restricted computers like work computers which prevent access from external FTP sites.
