cricketWeb was developed by Tony Murphy and Daniel Richardson in 2002 in order to help cricket clubs and leagues use technology to communicate to members more effectively, reduce administration time and attract revenue through online promotion. Since its launch in 2002 cricketWeb has undergone major redevelopment to enhance functionality. Tony and Daniel plan to continue to invest heavily in product development and particularly increase the administration capability of the application to make running cricket leagues and clubs easier for administrators.
cricketWeb is a family owned business and all contributors take an active interest in playing various sports and participating in running amateur teams and clubs. The business has grown over last 12months to acquire the expertise of talented family and friends in order to support future sales and marketing and enable more rapid product development .
Although specifically designed to help cricket clubs and leagues, the cricketWeb application is transferable to other sports and community-based activities and Tony & Daniel’s vision is to expand into other sporting industries in the future.
